*Please note: This price is for a standard broken HDMI port motherboard repair. If your device had a previous repair that did not fix the problem then the price will be $80.00 more ($80.00 + HDMI port repair cost).

I charge more for previous repairs made from other shops or someone who tried a DIY but was not successful.
Often times I get in HDMI port repairs that had a bad previous repair attempt that made more damage to the motherboard that I will have to fix and take more time on the repair job. *If repair is not possible due to the previous repair job from someone else, I charge a flat rate of $50.00 for my repair attempt. This repair attempt fee is for my time trying to fix the console. If repair is possible I only charge the repair cost of $80.00 + cost of HDMI Port repair.

HDMI port repairs only fix and replace a broken HDMI port. This repair job does not include other repairs to your game console that might be broken or not working. If your game console shuts off randomly or over heats after an HDMI port repair, this will be an additional fee to diagnose/repair.

No refunds are given after an HDMI port repair is complete and your console turns on and shows an image on the screen. If your game console has intermittent issues or other types of issues other than a working HDMI display after repair, I cannot guarantee I will be able to service or fix. No refunds or partial refunds will be given.

There is no way for myself or anyone else to know if a game console has or will have other issues after an HDMI port motherboard repair due to the fact that there will be no way to test the console beforehand.

The most common reason for a broken HDMI port is due to dropping the game console. A drop can damage other components or can cause a power line on the HDMI port itself to break/bend which can short out if one pin touches another and grounds itself witch causes a short circuit.
When this happens it can cause microchips on the motherboard to short out and get damaged. These types of motherboard damages are difficult to diagnose/repair and in many cases not repairable.

Standard HDMI port repairs includes very basic cleaning of loose dust on, around and inside the game console. Any dust stuck on the fan and inside the game console is an additional cleaning service fee.
Full cleaning of all dust and particles is not included in this service but can be added for an additional $30.00 and can take an extra 30 minutes to 1 hour.
This will include full wipedown of the fan and all around the console. It will not be "perfect" but will be enough to remove 80-90% of dust/grime build up.
This additional service does not clean corrosion due to liquid damage on the motherboard or surrounding components.

Live or dead insects inside the console can result in additional fees* or refusal to continue the repair. If we refuse your device for repair, we do not charge you any fee.
